Fall Out Boy Form Metal Band

the-damned-thingsFor some reason the words “Fall Out Boy” and “metal” just don’t go in the same sentence together. I encourage their enthusiasm to start a new project and continue their creativity of music, but this one might be pushing the bubbles a little too far. I’ll keep an open mind about this band until I hear the first single and I can make a definite judgement then, but until then let’s just cross our fingers and hope it’s not a total disaster in the making.

“Pete Wentz is spending Fall Out Boy’s indefinite hiatus adapting to the domestic life.

But guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley have opted for something heavier: They’re forming a metal band with Anthrax axemen Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano, and Every Time I Die singer Keith Buckley, called the Damned Things. ”
