‘New Moon’ Breaks Yet Another Record
The money machine keeps rolling…Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight: New Moon” keeps breaking record in addition to its opening weekend box office: most eyeballs for an online movie trailer.
For the first time that anyone can remember, two films grossed north of $100 million at the international box office on the same weekend — vampire romancer “New Moon” and Sony’s disaster spectacle “2012.”
“New Moon” opened to $142.8 million domestically, the third best bow of all time, for a worldwide total of $274.9 million.
