Avatar’s budget fails to impress
“Avatar” had been rumored to cost over a half a billion dollars for production costs, but the actual numbers are being revealed. According to The Wrap, a Fox spokesperson has said that the production costs are $237 million with $150 million for the promotion of the film. Compared to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, which cost $300 Million for production, it looks like Fox will have no problem recouping their money when all is said and done.
