“Moneyball” back in the game

The Hollywood Reporter reports that “Moneyball,” based on the best selling book by Michael Lewis, is back on the table. Bennett Miller is in negotiations to direct the Columbia film that stars Brad Pitt and follows the general manager of the Oakland A’s and how he changed the game of baseball. The movie was halted in June after they pulled the plug on Steven Soderberg’s version of the film.
