Lambert’s CBS ban finally over…given 2nd chance

adamlambertAdam Lambert was previously banned from CBS’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” but in a statement released this morning by CBS it seems as if they are giving Lambert a second chance.

LA Times reports that “Adam Lambert will appear on “The View” Thursday, December 10. His visit with the hosts includes a taped interview and performance. “The View” episode airs the morning after Barbara Walters includes Lambert as on of the year’s “Most Fascinating People” in her primetime special, which airs Wednesday, December 9 at 10:01 p.m., ET on ABC.”

He should really be thanking Barbara Walters for naming him on her “Most Fascinating People” list and therefore making it impossible for him not to perform on her show.

I think what Adam Lambert did is disgusting and immoral. If he chooses to be gay then thats his choice. Whether someone is straight, gay or bi is not the issue. The issue is that kids were watching the awards and should never have been subjected to that type of behavior. I don’t want to be subjected to that behavior and didn’t want my 2 kids to see it either. If I want to see that type of thing, I would rent it and watch it in private. We all need to have respect for others.

CBS NEVER banned ADAM … It was ABC because of 1500 complaints received out of 14 Million viewers & the complaints were CONTRIVED by some religious groups!!! The kids of today see three times worse videos on your music channels. IMO … if I had kids & I objected to something on TV I WOULD EITHER CHANGE THE CHANNEL OR TURN THE DARN THING OFF instead of complaining. ALL the performances on that night were OBJECTIONABLE!! leading up to ADAM’s ‘risque’ interpretation of the lyrics of the song.

@ Stacy: ADAM is GAY because that’s the way he was BORN … he didn’t CHOOSE to be GAY!! Is that your only problem? Well … that’s all water under the bridge now and ADAM is becoming a WORLDWIDE STAR!!!
