Monk finale goes out with a bang

According to TV By The Numbers, the season finale of “Monk,” which aired on Friday drew in a record high 9.4 million viewers with 3.2 million coming from the 18-49 demographic. This beat out “The Closer’s” 9.2 million mark and set an all new high.

The season finale brought many story lines to a close including the mystery behind who murdered his wife. The finale boosted the total viewers by 37 percent and proved that many are sad to see this show go.
