Pitt attaches to “Dracula” remake
Brad Pitt has signed on to produce Summit Entertainment’s remake of “Dracula” entitled “Vlad.” Music video director Anthony Mandler, whose credits include working with Rihanna, Eminem, and The Killers, blew away Summit after showing them a reel of his work.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Vlad” focuses on Dracula as a young prince, who ultimately is the man behind the Dracula myth. After the recent success with “The Twilight” series, it’s no wonder that Summit would focus their next venture on something in the same category.
