White House Crashers Will Plead the 5th
The alleged white house crashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, have informed the media that they will plead the fifth if they are subpoenaed by Congress, as reported by AP.
The House Homeland Security Committee will vote on Wednesday in an attempt to subpoena the couple, but the Salahi’s hope that the 5th amendment will be their saving grace to any charges.
Meanwhile, the Secret Service is in the middle of a criminal investigation to determine how the security breach happened, but no charges have been made yet.
