Star Trek leads pirated film race

TrekMovie.com reports that “Star Trek” has become the most pirated film of 2009 with downloads reaching close to 11 million times. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” came in second with 10.6 million downloads. Illegal downloading has transformed from being nerdy to hot.

The films rounding out the list were “The Hangover,” “Twilight, “District 9,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” “State of Play,” and “Knowing” coming in at 10.
