2012 beats Transformers at China B.O.
“2012″ has beat out “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” to be the number one movie of all time in China according to Variety. The film has grossed $67.3 million beating out Transformer’s $63 million.
Factors that have helped the success of “2012″ are its long run in the theaters and wide release of 1,900 screens.
China’s box office has grown 40% in the last year.
