Mel Gibson moves prisoners for new film in Veracruz
Mel Gibson has arranged for 300 inmates at the Ignacio Allende prison in Veracruz to be moved to make room for his new film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Families of the prisoners have expressed their disproval of the move which will make visits difficult and expensive. The transfer of the prisoners to the Villa Aldama penitentiary 31 miles away took a total of five hours.
Gibson scouted out the prison in April, but no filming date has been set for this location.
