Disney loses Oren Aviv
The former president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, Oren Aviv, has resigned, according to The Wrap. Aviv was the last remaining executive at the company since Dick Cook’s position. Aviv leaves following a year when Disney’s high ranking position in the industry slipped to number 5 in terms of market share.
In regards to his resign, he stated, “As of today, I’m stepping down from my position as president of Production, Walt Disney Studios, I have loved every day that I have been at the studio and feel incredibly privileged to have been part of a team that enriched my life for 20 years.”
Aviv’s replacement has not yet been named.
