Clooney organizing multi-network Haiti-relief telethon
The Wrap reports that George Clooney is going to host a telethon on MTV next Friday to help raise money for Haiti. The telethon will be aired on all MTV networks including VH1. Clooney has also reached out to his celebrity friends and encouraged them to donate as well. So far Angelina Jolie has pledged $1 million and Lance Armstrong has donated $250,000.
Other celebrities tweeting to help raise support for the earthquake survivors are Paris Hilton, Ben Stiller, Lindsay Lohan, and Adam Lambert.
