TLC to premiere docu-series “Addicted”

TLC released a press release stating that they will premiere a new docu-series called “Addicted” in March. The series follows the lives of 6 individuals trying to overcome their addiction with the help of interventionist Kristina Wandzilak. Each episode will be devoted to one individual and will not only cover the individual, but the friends and family around them to show the impact of the disease. The interventions that take place on the show will not only alert the individual, but provide them with tools to change their life permanently, not just temporary.

Wandzilak says, “I know how to change a life, and I know how to live better. I can do that. I am an example of it, and if I can do it, anyone can.”

How this show will be different from A&E’s series “Intervention” is unclear, but in any case expect some tear-jerking episodes.
