Tv Programmers turn to sex to sell
Tv programmers are turning to sex to sell their programs. Starz’s Spartacus series shows some very graphic scenes including full-frontal male nudity. But that’s not all: MTV plans on launching a new series entitled “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” which follows a 15-year-old who’s cool reaches its limits when his private area is accidentally exposed. Even Spike launched the premiere of the show “Blue Mountain State” which featured a school mascot masturbating. Spike programming chief Kevin Kay, stated, “You need to get eyeballs. You need to be loud.”
It seems that as each show reveals a little more, the others have to keep up or they will lose audiences.
