Sony Online Ent. donates to Red Cross for Haiti

Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) has raised $25,000 to donate to the American Red Cross to help in the aid of Haiti following the two earthquakes that have left them in pieces. SOE reached the target goal in only 3 days from consumers buying the Haiti Relief items. For every item purchased in EverQuest, EverQuest II, an Free Realms, Sony donated $10 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief fund. The items were available between January 15-18. This is the second charity project for SOE, which just finished a month long toy drive for Child’s Play.
