“The Runaways” picked up by E1 Ent.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Canuck distribution E1 Entertainment has already grabbed the rights to “The Runaways,” starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, as well as the film “The Tree of Life,” starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.

“The Runaways” will be making its World Premiere on Sun, Jan 24 at the Sundance Film Festival. So far all 3 screenings of the film at the festival are sold out.

The agreement was made in conjunction with River Road Entertainment and Apparition will be distributing both pictures in the U.S.
