Simon Cowell seeks pop stars for “Everybody Hurts” cover

Simon Cowell had stated earlier this week that he wants to put out some songs to raise money for Haiti and he is already going to work. Leona Lewis, Michael Buble, and Rod Stewart have already confirmed that they will partake in a group performance to cover REM’s “Everybody Hurts.” Dailymail reports that Cowell has also reached out to Paul McCartney, Coldplay and Robbie Williams to add additional voices to the song.

Also, all the performances from tonight’s telethon will be recorded and then sold on iTunes as another outlet for people to donate to the cause.
