“The Runaways” opens to mixed reviews

“The Runaways” starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning as Joan Jett and Cherie Currie opened last night at the Sundance Film Festival to mixed reviews. It seems that all in attendance loved the movie, but when it comes to the critics, they were expecting more. Fanning takes the cake for the best performance over Stewart, even though Jett is the more interesting character in the movie. The film is set to release nationwide by Apparition in March.
