John Travolta keeps his promise to Haiti
BBC reports that John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston personally flew a Boeing 707 to Haiti with 6 tons of ready-to-eat military rations and medical supplies for the victims of the earthquake. Qantas airlines provided the fuel for the trip.
Travolta said, “We have the ability to actually help make a difference in the situation in Haiti and I just can’t see not using this plane to help.”

As a fellow actor, I appreciate how John and his family have shown love to the people of Haiti. They have set a wonderful example for his peers and protege’s to follow, especially after enduring the many hardships and losses in their recent past.
