Tim Burton called to Cannes Film Festival
Tim Burton has been selected to be the head of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival that runs May 12-23. BBC reports that Burton said, “After spending my early life watching triple features and 48-hour horror movie marathons, I’m finally ready for this.” It is only logical for him to come back to revisit Cannes after his film “Ed Wood” made its debut there in 1995.
Last year the jury was head by actress Isabelle Huppert.
