Grammys remembered by performances, not awards

The Grammy Awards have become more about the performances over the years, rather than the recognition of the actual awards. This is not to say that the awards are invaluable, but at the end of the day the only thing that people remember are the performances.

This year the Grammy’s have scheduled performances by superstars Green Day, Mary J. Blige, P!nk, as well as a tribute to Michael Jackson, which pretty much guarantees ratings will be higher this year.
