Zachary Quinto stepping away from Star Trek for 2 years
Zachary Quinto says that he has had enough of playing sci-fi roles, and wants to step away for a couple of years. He has played Sylar on the hit tv drama “Heroes” and is now known for his role as Spock” on the latest remake of “Star Trek.” Now Quinto wants to move onto other roles, that don’t involve sci-fi worlds. Quinto told Wired.com, “I’m stepping away from Star Trek for at least two years — no movies, no conventions, no anything for a while.”
He hopes that his fans will support his request to move onto other pursuits saying, “I want to invite them along with me on my journey, which is going to take them out of their comfort zone and into other areas and other styles of storytelling.”
We can’t wait to see what Quinto will throw at us next.
