“Winter in Wartime” picked up by Sony Classics

“Winter in Wartime,” a war drama from High Point Films has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics according to Indiewire. The story is based on the novel by Jan Terlouw, which takes place during the end of WWII and centers on a teenager who becomes involved with the Resistance after coming to the aid of a wounded British soldier. The film’s producer, Els Vandevorst, said, “we are proud that a renowned company as Sony Classics has given their trust to our film and I hope that the American audience will embrace ‘Winter in Wartime,’ as much as the Dutch did.”
