Weezer, Ween, The Donnas, Dean & Britta, Linda Thompson, and Cowboy Junkies are among some of the artists who have donated unreleased tracks to the TargetCancer cd. The album sales will go to benefit the rare cancer research non-profit TargetCancer whose mission is to “promote the development of lifesaving treatment protocols for rare cancers.” The tracks are going to be sold on a pay-what-you-want basis starting at $.99 minimum. TargetCancer was founded by music lover Paul Poth, who died last year of hepatobiliary duct cancer. This soundtrack lives on in his name.

Supporters can purchase the songs at righttracktunes.org.

Below is the current track list:

Weezer- “The Rat Race”
Ween – “DC Won’t Do You No Good”
The Donnas- “Can’t Keep It a Secret”
Cowboy Junkies- “In My Time of Need” (Ryan Adams cover)
