Carrie Underwood to star in Soul Surfer
Carrie Underwood is making her way to the big screen. She will be starring alongside Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, and AnnaSophia Robb in the upcoming movie called “Soul Surfer,” as reported by Variety. The film is based off the 13 year old girl, Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack, but despite the odd she went on to compete and win professional surfing competitions.
Underwood will play a youth leader at the church and Robb will be playing the part of Bethany. The filming started this week in Hawaii.
