Ringo Starr gets Walk of Fame Star

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr was honored with the presentation of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. His name will be the 2,401st star to be unveiled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

AP reports that Starr commented, “This is the start of the next 50 years of stars. I’m proud to be the first one.” The Beatles group as a whole were given a star in 1998. Starr was accompanied by his wife Barbara Bach, as well as Joe Walsh, Ben Harper, Don Was, David Lynch, and Noah Wyle.
