Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts to star in “Larry Crowe”
Superstars Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts will re-unite on screen in a new movie titled “Larry Crowe.” The film is independently financed, but was just acquired by Universal Pictures to get the ball rolling. The film revolves around Hanks playing a man that is trying to re-invent his life.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Hanks will be directing the movie, his first since his 1996 feature “That Thing You Do!.” He also co-wrote the screenplay with Nia Vardolos (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”).
The film plans to start production in April in Los Angeles.
