Alexander McQueen’s label still lives on

British designer Alexander McQueen’s label will still go on, even following the death of the designer himself. WWD reports that Gucci Group chief executive officer Robert Polet stated, “We believe in the future of the brand. Lee was very proud of the people working in his company, and so am I.” Following the death of McQueen, his McQ fashion show was abruptly cancelled, but his show for the Alexander McQueen collection is set to take place on March 9 during Paris Fashion Week.
