Alice in Wonderland cut from Odeon cinemas
Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland has been cut from being shown at Odeon cinemas in the UK. The out-lash is in response to Disney’s plan to reduce the time frame that the movie can be shown in cinemas so that they can release the film on DVD at the end of May.
BBC reported that Odeon fears that if they conform to the 12-week window instead of the standard 17-week, then the 12-week window will become a standard, which would hurt the theaters.
