Disney resolves distribution dispute with Odeon over Alice in Wonderland

Last week we reported that “Alice in Wonderland” had been cut from Odeon cinemas, but it now has developed that they have reached an agreement. The decision was made on the same day the film premiered in London with Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cronwall all present for the red carpet. Both parties have not disclosed details relating to the agreements, but it is probable that the studio managed to convince them that it only plans on placing short theatrical release windows on certain select films, not all in the future.
The film hits theaters worldwide March 5.
