Mariah Carey cancels Remix Album for “new surprises”
BY LINELLE SCHULTZ
Mariah Carey has canceled the planned remix album of her recent cd “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” that was slated to be named “Angels Advocate.” Carey’s reps have stated that the decision is in support for what they are calling “some new surprises.” The remix album was scheduled to hit the shelves on March 30, but earlier this week the fansite Mariah Daily Journal stated that a management rep released the following statement, “We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed.”
