Sony working on 3D “Popeye” movie

Sony is working on a 3D version of the hit cartoon “Popeye.” Variety reports that former Marvel boss Avi Arad will produce the film and Mike Jones is in negotiations to write the film. This will be the first time the sailor will return to the big screen since the 1980 version starring Robin Williams.
