Tom Hanks tweets photo of “Larry Crowne” cast

Those who follow Tom Hanks on Twitter (at @tomhanks) learned – in an unconventional way – who the mega-star has cast in his second directorial effort, “Larry Crowne.”

Hanks posted a Twit Pic of the casting board, allowing people to guess the headshots and fill in the cast. Here’s a link to the picture:

Don’t recognize everyone? Well, ComingSoon.net has researched and come up with the following:

“Tom Hanks with Peter Scolari below him
Julia Roberts and Bryan Cranston below her
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wilmer Valderrama and Jon Seda
Cedric the Entertainer and Taraji P. Henson
Rami Malek, Malcolm Barrett and Maria Canals Barrera
George Takei, unknown actress and Holmes Osborne
Dale Dye and Bob Stephenson”

Hanks’ film is about a middle-aged man (played by Hanks) who has to discover a new career path. The actor co-wrote the screenplay with Nia Vardalos of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” It’s the second film Hanks will direct after “That Thing You Do!” Filming reportedly begins in Los Angeles next month.
