Angelina Jolie in new “Salt” photos; Trailer expected Thursday

Sony Pictures revealed more production photos from Phillip Noyce’s spy thriller “Salt,” according to slash-film. In the movie, Angelina Jolie plays a CIA officer who is outed as a Russian sleeper spy. Over the course of the film, she must evade capture by her CIA colleagues, who suspect her of attempting to assassinate the president.

“Salt” originally was conceived as a star vehicle for Tom Cruise. It’s co-scripted by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland from Wimmer’s story idea. It’s Sony’s hope the film appeals to action junkies who flocked to see Jolie in “Wanted” ($134.5 million), “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” ($186.3 million) and the two “Tomb Raider” video game adaptations ($131 and $65 million, respectively).

The new stills can be viewed at Sony’s official Web site for the film. “Salt” opens in theaters on July 23. The latest trailer will be posted on Apple’s official site this Thursday, April 1.

Anglina’s resume has more action savvy than most of her male counterparts. She’s not afraid to do her own stunts, ihandles guns and knives with ease and still oozes sex appeal. She’s a Natural Born Killer with her slim higps, long legs, large breasts, big green eyes and long, lusciuos hair…but this movie is not for the light hearted, no chick flicks for Ange,. Angelina in leather and handcuffs, also some barely clad scenes showing some of her tattoos that don’t often see the light of day, smart, sexy and dangerous…wouldn’t miss this one for anything,.
