“Clash of the Titans” dominates Easter weekend

“Clash of the Titans,” starring Sam Worthington has managed to take home the top spot this Easter weekend, according to Variety. The Warner Bros. action flick brought in an estimated $61.4 million from over 3,777 locations. The 3D screenings of the film brought in 52% of the total gross, making the film the highest-grossing film over this holiday.

Other films that opened were Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” pulling an estimated $30.2 million and Miley Cryus’ “The Last Song,” which opened to $16.2 million.
