Justin Bieber barely makes it through “SNL” skit with Tina Fey

BY STAFF

Music’s latest pop teen sensation is Justin Bieber. This Canadian singer posted all of his performances on YouTube and low and behold grew a humongous fan base. Among those who saw them was manager Scooter Braun who saw something and took the time to fly Bieber to Georgia to consult with R&B star Usher. What was created was a joint venture between Braun and Usher under the company Raymond-Braun Music Group. Just last year his single “One Time” became a top single and was in the top thirty charts in over thirty countries. He became the first artist to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He later went on to release “My World,” which became an instant hit. Just last month he released a follow up album entitled “My World 2.0,” which includes his hit song “Baby.”

So it’s no surprise that Bieber was asked to join Tina Fey in an “SNL” skit, proving that he has indefinitely “made it” in the music industry. But performing along side Tina Fey is no short order to accomplish. In an interview with MTV, he stated, “It was hilarious and it was a lot of fun to do. I just tried to act and I thought of bad, bad thoughts [to distract myself].”

In regards to acting alongside Fey he said, “She’s a really nice person. She’s really down to earth, not really like Hollywood. She’s cool. And she’s cute too!”
