Jon and Kate Gosselin receive May court date

We reported last week that Jon Gosselin was filing a lawsuit against Kate over the physical custody of their eight kids. Since then Kate has been acting hostile towards Jon, giving him the cold shoulder. Details also reported that Jon was broke and after the divorce was left with no money, so he is now trying to win back the kids from Kate so that at least he can feel like he won something. Meanwhile, Kate has been occupying herself with the show “Dancing with the Stars,” escaping elimination every week by a hair. Sources report that she is being paid $200,000 for this gig, so she needless to say isn’t feeling the financial pain Jon is.

Now X17Online reports that the two have a court date set for May 25 at the Berks County Courthouse in Redding, Pennsylvania. They report that Jon’s lawyer stated, “He wanted to spend this weekend with the kids and she said no. She wanted the nannies to watch them instead.” He also said in regards to their current communication status, “They talk on a need-to-talk basis, for scheduling … because there are constant changes with the children’s schedules.”

As for Jon, talks of a new show is in the swirls, but who knows if it will ever pan out.
