Coachella: Jay-Z rocks “Forever Young” with Beyonce

Over 75,000 flocked to the deserts of Indio, California to attend one of music’s biggest festivals….Coachella. The surge of visitors created traffic jams on all streets surrounding the venue, and some ticket holders took 3 hours to get into the event. Many people stated that the festival ran out of wristbands and the entire scanning process was very unorganized, leading to the major traffic jam…worse than years before. And while Jay-Z was the headliner for Day 1, much was to be anticipated.

According to Inland Socal, Jay-Z hit the stage and brought out pop star Beyonce to accompany him in the hit “Forever Young.” The crowd went wild, even for a mainstream artist like Beyonce. He continued to go on with hits like “99 Problems” and “Hard Knock Life,” and ended with “Encore,” before coming out for a true encore.

Paris Hilton even made an appearance to see the duo perform an epic night, but left before the set ended to avoid the paparazzi that had already attacked her.

As day one comes to a close, it appears that it was one to mark for the books with some amazing performances….can’t wait for tomorrow.
