Sandra Bullock target of a murder plot?

Can the Sandra Bullock saga get any more strange?

A report on TMZ claims the FBI investigated a tip about a murder plot against Sandra Bullock that was allegedly arranged by Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, mistress of Bullock’s husband, Jesse James. The threat, however, was ultimately deemed “not credible,” according to the site.

Details are shady, and FBI officials would not comment. But TMZ spins a tangled web about McGee’s ex-husband, Shane Modica, who reported received a phone call from a man who claimed “Bombshell” wanted to put a hit on both Modica and Bullock. Law enforcement sources did confirm that someone did contacted the FBI about the potential hits, but nothing came of it. The threat, according to TMZ, was “bogus.”

Rumors and heresay run rampant in these ugly situations. We hope all of this ends for Bullock soon.
