Gwyneth Paltrow will no longer be playing Nicole Kidman’s wife in the upcoming film, ‘The Danish Girl’
Gwyneth Paltrow will no longer be playing Nicole Kidman’s wife in the upcoming film, ‘The Danish Girl,’ after deciding she would rather spend more time with her family, the actress tells Harper’s Bazaar.
The ‘Iron Man’ actress signed up for the movie back in November, replacing the quitting Charlize Theron. ‘Danish Girl’ tells the story of a man who undergoes the first sex-change operation (Kidman) and the wife that stands by her.
Paltrow explained that after the film’s location was changed, she couldn’t bear spending much time away from husband Chris Martin and her young kids, Apple, 6, and Moses, 4.
“Some days I feel like everyone in my world has plugged themselves into my kidneys. I’m so tired,” she said. “When I pulled out, he (Martin) said, ‘I think you’ll be happy with your decision.'”
