James McAvoy: Thursday Morning Man

When I saw The Last King of Scotland, I was very impressed with Forrest Whitaker’s Oscar winning performance. But I also remember this movie experience as the day I fell in love with James McAvoy.

A few months later, I was working the red carpet at the Academy Awards and the stars were being rushed in as showtime drew near. I yelled out James’s name as he passed and, God bless him, he stopped, turned around and backtracked to where I was standing and gave me a little interview.

Now I wanted to marry him. Drat, he’s already married to actress Anne-Marie Duff!
