This Friday 4/23 will be a big day for Twilight Saga fans. In addition to the 4:00PM EST release of the “Eclipse” trailer, fans are in for another treat. Through its official Twitter account (@Twilight), Summit Entertainment announced yesterday that a live online chat at 8:15PM EST will accompany the online release of the trailer at 8:00PM EST.

Confirmed for the chat are Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale, and Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaces Rachelle Lefevre for the role of bad vamp Victoria. The final confirmed cast member—Julia Jones—plays Leah Clearwater, whose character we will meet for the first time in “Eclipse”.

The length of the chat has not been confirmed, but it is a boon to international fans who may not have been in a position to participate in TV release festivities. And, the chat won’t be pre-recorded or scripted. Summit sent the following instruction through its Twitter account yesterday: “Tweet @Twilight for a chance to have your question answered during the chat! Include #EclipseChat in your question.”

Also announced yesterday were further details about the 4:00PM EST trailer release on the The Oprah Show. Actress Dakota Fanning, who reprises the role of Volturi vamp Jane in the upcoming film, is rumored to be attending the show to provide an introduction.
