Thrice cancel all tour dates due to family emergency

Thrice, who is comprised of Dustin Kensrue, Teppei Teranishi, Eddie Breckenridge, and Riley Breckenridge, had set up a series of dates to support their 2009 release “Beggars.” And while fans were excited to see live versions of the new songs including “In Exile,” “Beggars,” and “All the World is Mad,” it looks like fans will have to wait longer. The band just released the following statement on their website regarding the current tour:

“Due to a family emergency, Dustin had to fly home this morning, and as a result, we will not be playing tonight’s show in St. Louis.

Thanks for your understanding.

The remaining dates on our co-headline tour with Manchester Orchestra (& O’Brother) have been cancelled. Ticket refunds will be made available at point of purchase. We are very very sorry to have to do this, but please trust that we would not be taking this sort of action unless dire circumstances were involved.

While this is a let down for fans, we hope that whatever Dustin is flying home for works out for the better.
