Bret Michaels may not remember hospital trip

Bret Michaels was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage five days ago, and has since undergone multiple tests and been diagnosed with another condition that could cause seizures. But the rocker may never remember any of it, according to experts.

According to People magazine, Michaels, who is hospitalized in an undisclosed Arizona location, is conscious.

“Most people [who suffer this type of brain hemorrhage] don’t remember most of their hospitalization – they have no recollection,” Dr. Melvin Field, director of the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute, told People.

Michaels was diagnosed with the complication, hyponatremia, a lack of sodium in the body which leads to seizures, according to his website. Michaels, 47, suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 22.
