Bret Michaels being treated in Phoenix, Arizona
Bret Michaels has been in the ICU under 24-hour supervision ever since a brain hemorrhage caused him to be sent to the hospital. Just a couple weeks before that he was sent to the hospital to undergo emergency appendectomy, which has not helped in making the recovery process any easier. While the doctors are still doing tests to determine the location of the bleeding, the hospital and the location of him has been kept under tight wraps.
Now TMZ has reported that he is currently being taken care of at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. They also report that his neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, has stated that “there’s “no doubt” Bret’s condition is “serious”…but Bret’s sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable.” Apparently Bret has kept himself alive this entire time because he “did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor.”
We know that he will pull through this one and our thoughts are with him and his family.
