First look: Chris Hemsworth as Thor!

Marvel Studios isn’t going to let “Iron Man” steal all of the superhero thunder. An exclusive look at Chris Hemsworth as Thor has been posted on Yahoo Movies, giving fans their first glimpse of the blonde-locked Norse god. To see a full-size shot of the costumed superhero, click here.

“Thor,” directed by Kenneth Branagh, serves as an origin story for the god of thunder. At the same time, it will continue a larger story arc told in the two “Iron Man” movies and the upcoming Captain America film. All roads, of course, lead to a planned “Avengers” film.

Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins and Renee Russo co-star with Hemsworth. “Thor” is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2011.
