Bret Michaels Update: Starting to Walk Again

Bret Michaels has been in the ICU since he has suffered a brain hemorrhage a couple weeks ago. Just last week we learned that he is currently being treated at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona under 24 hour surveillance. Just weeks before the brain hemorrhage, he had to undergo emergency appendectomy, which has only made matters worse. Since last week we haven’t heard any news regarding his recovery and now his sister Michelle has come forward with an update.

In an interview with The Todd N Tyler Radio Empire show, she said that he is “definitely doing better and he was kind of getting up and starting to walk a little bit, but they don’t want the blood obviously to clot.” She continued, “but all that blood in his brain is sort of starting to drain a little bit and he’s suffering a lot of back pain…and I can hear it in his voice.”

She also went on to address how happy Bret is that so many people are pulling for him.

We are happy to hear that Bret is recovering well.
