Justin Bieber will record next album in New York
HollywoodNews.com: Watch out, New York.
The Godzilla of teen love, Justin Bieber, is coming to take over your city.
The 16-year-old pop sensation will be in the Big Apple to record his next album. His people have already filed the papers.
Bieber’s record label, Universal, filed a petition with Manhattan Supreme Court for a judge’s permission to get its latest contract with the singing sensation approved, according to The Post. Because Bieber is under 18, the label needs to get permission for the judge.
“[Justin] is providing his services as a recording artist in recording studios located in New York City,” the petition read. “The foregoing services rendered by the minor shall not, however, require excessive time as to interfere with the minor’s education and welfare.”
Bieber fever has been wreaking havoc all over the world on his current tour. In Sydney, authorities cancelled a show because of safety concerns. In New Zealand, overzealous fans overpowered Bieber’s mother at the airport, knocking her down and stealing Bieber’s hat.
