“Sex and the City” cast admit to fights on set

HollywoodNews.com: The wait for “Sex and the City 2” is almost over, and the fashionistas of the world are already tapping their Louboutin-clad feet in anticipation. As the stars of the film travel the press circuit, they’re finally admitting that there was some bickering on set, but they it wasn’t nearly as big of a fight as the press has made it out to be.

Rumors of in-fighting among the stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, started before the first film even premiered, but the actors have all denied these rumors. Most of the gossip focuses on a rift between Parker and Cattrall.

Sarah Jessica Parker told Marie Claire magazine that the fighting was normal when you’re working such long hours on set.

“When you’re on set, you’re working 90-hour weeks, you’re never home, you’re exhausted,” she told the publication. “There are times when all of us have been sensitive, and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don’t have any regrets about how I’ve treated people.”

Cattrall reinforced what Parker had said, explaining that the supposed drama between her and Parker over salary differences was simply a figment of the media’s imagination.

“The press has to put women in these boxes, rather than show them as the movie portrays them: working together and being powerful,” Cattrall told the magazine. “Things just have to be explosive for no other reason than for people’s imaginations.”

In “Sex and the City 2,” we’ll visit Carrie after her marriage to Mr. Big to see what married life looks like for the fashionable Bradshaw. Also, the fabulous foursome will take a adventurous vacation to Abu Dhabi. We can hardly wait.
